PARISH DEVELOPMENT

PARISH PLANNING TEAM  MEETINGS ARE COMPLETE!!! 

St. Aloysius is proud to announce that the Parish Planning Team (PPT) meetings have been successfully completed!  The last two meetings were held on April 6 and May 4. At the April 6 meeting, each Planning Area group worked on the following:

  1. Review LRAP Document and SWOT 
  2. Review / edit Purpose Statements 
  3. Edit Challenges (6 or less) 
  4. Create Strategic Solutions
  5. Begin preparation/planning for the Convocation 

At the May 4 meeting, each Planning Area
group worked on the following:

  1. Review LRAP Document 
  2. Edit Challenges (6 or less) 
  3. Complete Strategic Solutions
  4. Multi-vote Challenges 

The information that evolved from the five PPT meetings included six Planning Areas:

  • AREA A: Liturgy & Worship
  • AREA B: Outreach & Evangelization
  • AREA C: Stewardship & Development
  • AREA D: Faith Formation
  • AREA E: Parish Life
  • AREA F: Administration & Finance

Under each of these Planning Areas, the PPT members generated challenges they would like to see addressed at St. Aloysius. The PPT members also began to create solutions to address all challenges.  The challenges created by the PPT will be the key focus at the Parish Convocation. 

All are invited to attend the Parish Convocation!!!

The Parish Convocation will allow ALL St. Aloysius parishioners the opportunity to express their opinions about the future of the parish.   At the Convocation, we will ask for your involvement/input in the following ways: 

  1. Learn about our Long Range Planning Process 
  2. Review the Parish Mission Statement 
  3. Create solutions for the challenges identified by the PPT 
  4. Prioritize the challenges
  5. Sign-up to help with implementation
