CYO Sports Program

CYOThe Catholic Youth Organization is a recreational sports program, run through the Toledo Diocese. Cross Country for boys and girls in grades K – 8, Volleyball for girls in grades 4 – 12, Football for boys in grades 5 – 8, Basketball for girls and boys in grades 4-12 and Track for girls & boys in grades 4 – 8.

The coaching staff is made up of volunteer college students and parents. Teams typically practice twice during the week and games are played in the BG/Toledo area on weekends. All athletes with varying ability are welcome. Teams are formed based on the numbers that register to play.

To be eligible, athletes must be registered parishioners at St. Al’s, St. Tom’s, St. John XXIII or St. Louis. Non parishioners that attend St. Al’s or St. Louis’s grade school are also eligible. Students who attend a Catholic High School need to register in their home Parish.

Further information about the Diocesan CYO Program is available at the CYO Website.
