St. Aloysius hosts the American Red Cross Bloodmobile each year in December. Parishioners recruit workers and blood donors to help supply the 275 blood donors needed to meet the daily need for 19 area hospitals. More than sixty volunteers are needed to make the Bloodmobile a success. Nurses, kitchen help and hosts-hostesses are all needed.

The Circle of Life Ministry holds a liturgy once a year for deceased parishioners who pass away between Nov. 1 and Oct. 31 each year. We send cards to the survivors. We also send letters to the survivors before Nov. 1 to invite them to our liturgy. At the liturgy, candles are lit for each deceased person and that person’s name is read out loud and the bells are tolled. We welcome anyone who would like to join our ministry. We have educational movies at each meeting plus other ways of helping with bereavement. We meet once a month in September, October, November, and May.

Working the Coffee Hour allows you to greet your fellow parishioners as you provide them with a drink and a doughnut. Duties would include setting-up the tables, making coffee and cold drinks, wiping the tables down and cleaning up. At this time we have 4 "teams" working a month at a time, 3 times a year.
