ACTS RETREAT
ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. Built upon these four foundational principles, the ACTS Retreat provides an opportunity for men and women to focus on their faith and its application in their daily lives, to build purpose in their prayer life, to increase their presence at Mass, and to cultivate friendships among members of the parish community. The ACTS Retreats are held at an off-site location. Transportation and lodging are provided as a part of the retreat program.
For background on the ACTS Retreat nation wide, visit the retreat page of the ACTS Missions website. For more information on the ACT Retreat at St. Aloysius contact Michael Ginnetti, Pastoral Associate for Evangelization.

PARISH RETREAT
The Parish Retreat at St. Aloysius is a spiritual experience of Catholic community designed to take participants through a reflection on self, the Church and its Sacramental Life, and our community in the Body of Christ. Participants are encouraged to live the Christian life in a renewed way and to become active members of the parish, according to each person’s talents and responsibilities. The retreat is a day and a half event that takes place at St. Aloysius Church. The Parish Retreat is held in January each year.
WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
This weekly Bible study helps bring adult women to a better understanding of the Bible in light of Catholic teaching while creating a sense of Catholic community among women of the area. Women from several different parishes participate in the group.
The women meet for Bible study on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. during the school year in Clare Hall. The group also prays the rosary in Clare chapel before formally meeting at 10 a.m.. In the past, they have hosted speakers for the group and the parish. They have also gone on several field trips to places of interest as the group decides. They have an annual Christmas party.
Any adult woman who has a desire to know the Lord better through Bible study is welcome to join, simply show up at 10 a.m. on any Wednesday during the school year. No prior knowledge of the Bible is required.
If you have questions prior to coming, contact Linda Kettinger at lindakett@gmail.com.
